Until October 4, the deadline to register audiovisual projects is open in the 13th edition of the “I + P, Ideas to produce” pitching, organized by the Galician Audiovisual Cluster and this year will take place on November 19 and 20 in Pontevedra.
The "I+P, Ideas to Produce" aims to bring together producers, screenwriters and directors who have a film or television project, and who seek business alliances for their co-production, sale or distribution, with managers of television channels , executive producers, distributors and international sales managers. The I + P became a reference format for professionals in the sector at the national level, seeing the number of registered projects that wish to participate in this forum increase every year.
Among all the works received, a committee of experts will select 15 film and television projects to carry out, on November 20, a pitch in front of prominent audiovisual agents. Next, one-to-one meetings will be held between the producers and creators of the works and the experts attending Pitching this year.
Producers and creators interested in participating in this new edition of the I + P can register their work until October 4 by sending the registration form to email@example.com. The Cluster will communicate the selected projects from October 30.
In its 13th edition the “I + P, Ideas to Produce” has the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais (AGADIC) and the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape), and the Council of Pontevedra. And with the sponsorship of Gadisa and Music Library & SFX, and the collaboration of the CREA association, the Filmarket Hub platform, Galicia Calidade and the Pontevedra Film Commission.
The Galician Association of Professional Management and Creation (CREA) and the “I + P, Ideas to produce” maintain their collaboration in the 2019 edition of the audiovisual forum in order to encourage the participation of CREA members in pitching with Preferred conditions.
Thus, the CREA partners project, which is best valued by the Selection Committee among all those enrolled in the “I + P, Ideas to produce”, will have direct access to the day, enjoying the same discount as the members of the Galician Audiovisual Cluster. In the case of having more projects of CREA members selected to participate in the conference, the general conditions will apply to them.
Presence of I + P projects in the Filmarket Hub catalog
The Filmarket Hub online platform also renews its collaboration with the “R&D, Ideas to Produce”. So that the feature films and series in development selected to participate in the 13th edition of the forum will be included in the Filmarket Hub catalog and will enjoy a year of free registration in the online market that operates in the European continent and in Latin America. In this way, the projects will have one more year of greater visibility and diffusion, increasing their chances of finding possible co-producers or buyers and being able to access other companies in addition to those participating in pitching.
