IBC 2017

Four companies make up the delegation of the Clúster Audiovisual Galego at the IBC 2017 fair, to be held from 15 to 19 September in Amsterdam. An inescapable event in the sector of broadcasting, television and multimedia technologies applied to communication, where the latest market developments are presented and serves as a meeting point for the main players in the industry.

The Cluster promotes, within its line of internationalization, the participation of companies CTV, S.A.Intereuropa TV, S.A.Producciones Audiovisuales Sete Media S.L. and TV Siete Productora de Vídeo, S.L. in the IBC of Amsterdam with the aim of promoting business opportunities for the Galician audiovisual sector.

This action is framed in the Strategic Plan of the Cluster Audiovisual Galego for the period 2014-2017 and is carried out within the Galician Program Exports Intermediate Organizations, with the financial support of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape), the Xunta de Galicia and the Union European Union.

In IBC, the Galician companies will be able to know the latest technology and opportunities in the areas of creation, management and provision of entertainment contents. During the five days of this meeting, Amsterdam hosts companies that lead the broadcasting, audio, multimedia, satellite communications, servers, Internet, webcasting, radio, television and video segments.

Among the innovations of this year, the IBC fair in Amsterdam inaugurates the initiative Startup Forum. The program of seminars and round tables of the first edition of this forum calls for the participation of innovative audiovisual and digital business startups, related to virtual reality and augmented reality, social networks, advertising technologies, artificial intelligence, learning of machines, e-commerce, eSports, Apps, SEO and SEM, conversion optimization or security.

In relation to the Conference program of this edition of the IBC, which runs from September 14 to 18 under the motto "Truth, trust and transformation", one of its key themes will be sports and how to increase the television business from greater commitment and loyalty of the fans. Master classes will stimulate debate and seek clarity on the multitude of challenges and opportunities faced by content creators and aggregators.
