Direct mission of the Galician audiovisual at the Celtic Media Festival 2019

The producers CTV, Ficción Producciones and Tamboura make up the business delegation promoted by the Galician Audiovisual Cluster at the 40th edition of the Celtic Media Festival, which is celebrated until the 6th in the Scottish town of Aviemore and in which participate the Cluster itself, the Television of Galicia and Voz Audiovisual. This contest promotes the culture and languages of the Celtic countries in film, television, radio and new media, with four Galician productions finalists to their annual awards.

The direct mission of the Galego Audiovisual Cluster is part of the Galicia Exporta Intermediate Organisms Program and has the financial support of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape), the Xunta de Galicia and the European Union.

The Galician candidacies compete in this festival with televisions of the likes of the BBC of Scotland and Wales, the FR3 of Brittany and the RTE of Ireland. On behalf of the Galician public media, the head of Content of the TVG, Montse Besada, and the Head of Programs of Radio Galega, Tania F. Lombao, will also participate in different talks and meetings with representatives of other European media. The director of the Content Area of ​​the CRTVG, Fernando R. Ojea, also attends the festival.

As for the productions, the docufiction "Caso Diana Quer: 500 días", produced by the partner of the Cluster Agallas Films for the TVG, was a finalist in the category Current events ("Current affairs") along with other proposals of the Brittany French, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Tomorrow, Thursday, the remaining awards and sections in which the "Diario Cultural" of the Radio Galega (in the category "Radio music program"), the entertainment program "Historias mínimas" of the partner Tamboura for the TVG (in the "Factual Series" section) and the thriller "La sombra de la ley" by Dani de la Torre, participated by TVG (in the "Single Drama" section).

In this edition of the Celtic Media Festival there are competing productions distributed among a total of 22 categories, covering the world of cinema, sports, media, technology, current affairs, entertainment and art.
