With the aim of promoting the creation of digital content in Galicia and promoting the internationalization of this sector, the Galician Audiovisual Cluster held a meeting between the Galician producers and companies in Argentina yesterday. The meeting took place in the framework of the Carballo Interplay festival, which is held until this Saturday in the town of A Coruña that gives it its name.
Argentina excels in the digital content industry in Latin America, especially in regard to fiction and series created for the Internet. The Cluster initiative served to connect Galician audiovisual companies such as Aba Films, Adivina Producciones, Congo Producciones or Ficción Producciones with the Argentine business delegation, share experiences and find business meeting points that lead to possible new projects.
On the part of the Argentine delegation, Martin Lapisonde, founding partner of the producer Macaco Films and director of the BAWEBFEST, participated in the meeting; Rocío Carbajo, producer, scriptwriter and content coordinator of the UN3Tv channel, and Agustina Lumi, film and television producer and currently coordinator of media content at Cine.ar, FVOD platform of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) of Argentina .
This activity is part of the Reverse Business Mission with the digital content sector of Argentina, organized by the Cluster within the Galicia Exporta Intermediate Organisms Program, with the financial support of the Igape, the Xunta de Galicia and the EU, which will make it known to the external all the potential of the Galician companies and establish possible formulas of cooperation in new formats between both territories.
